Toothbrush

There are hard and soft bristles. They are electric and manual as well as a rectangular or tapered head and even the type of handle; the non-slip grip, or the flexible neck. With so many different types of designs, styles, and brands on the market and available, how do you decide which one to use? Which is more effective? What makes a toothbrush more comfortable? Depending on how vigorously you scrub, soft bristles will be gentler on your gums, whereas the hard bristle brushes can actually cause damage to the gums, the dental surface and enamel. There's little difference in the way you brush beyond comfort. Some prefer to hold flexible handles because it allows them to angle their toothbrush more easily. Others prefer rigid handles as it is easier to hold. Pick a brush that is more comfortable for you, or consult your dentist to help you pick the right brush.
